When it comes to unearthing talent annual days prove a perfect platform.
And the same happened at this do, which marked the annual day of International College for Girls. Titled - Cosmos 2009 - the celebrations witnessed students enthralling the viewers with their perfectly synchronised moves on both western and Bollywood foot tapping numbers.
Traditional Punch: In sync with the spirit of the Pink City the show started with invoking lord Krishna through a song.

What followed was traditional music and dance performances like Kathak, jugalbandi and Sufi music, Salsa and a fashion show.
It was interesting to see eco-friendly costumes designed by both the students and faculty members on the runaway. Revealing the environment conscious side of the designers it earned them rave reviews. And thats not it! Accessories made of aluminum foil, tissue paper and edible nuts caught the fancy and appreciation of audience, as well.
Look who attended the do: A perfect blend of fun and fiesta the event saw the likes of Bina Kak, the states minister for tourism, art and culture, and Tollywood actress Koel Mullick gracing the occasion. The evening came to an end with meritorious students being awarded for their exceptional performance in varied fields.
